We have been photographing for last few years, both with a background in Product Design. We both have a keen eye and passion for design, photography and art.

Jay - I believe that event, particularly wedding, photography is all about stepping back and, without interference or intrusion, observing and documenting the day as it unfolds. My intention is to capture the spirit of event using a photo-journalistic approach. My preference is always to use natural light, only using flash or additional lighting when absolutely necessary.

Phil - Weddings are great. We all love the atmosphere, the fun, the laughter. This is exactly why I love wedding photography...not just the usual posed group photographs which certainly have their place but the moments when you can really see people in the best of moods and the highest spirits. The photojournalistic or documentary style, in my experience, gives the best representation of the day as it unfolded. I believe that to faithfully capture the day in images, it's those unplanned moments and outbursts of laughter that really serve as a true reminder of the day.

Event and Sports photography offers different challenges but the premise is still the same capturing the essence of the day by producing images that cover all the action. In many cases, it’s not just the content of the event but the location and the audience that serve to tell the story of the event.
